Grandad Sid A real man role model confidaint our saviour ! now with well earned wings !
A Fantastic Husband to Kathleen Burton (whom are now reunited)A Diamond in the rough A Devoted loyal
Father Brother Grandad Greatgrandad.

Grandfathers are fathers who are grand,
Restoring the sense that our most precious things
Are those that do not change much over time.
No love of childhood is more sublime,
Demanding little, giving on demand,
Far more inclined than most to grant the wings
Allowing us to reach enchanted lands.
Though grandfathers must serve as second fathers,
Helping out with young and restless hearts,
Each has all the patience wisdom brings,
Remembering our passions more than others,
Soothing us with old and well-honed arts.

Grandad

Memories of Grandfather's flower garden
Are made up of lilies fair,
In neat rows beside the marigolds
And the sunflowers he planted there.
His roses were always so beautiful-
Bouquets graced nans table each day.
I can still see fresh dew on their petals
Glistening in the sunshine's soft rays.
The fragrance that came from his flowers
Was truly a gift from God.
He loved the feeling of the warm earth
In that seemingly sacred sod.
God surely blessed my grandfather
For he tended his garden with care.
Everyday he would work his magic
On his beautiful flowers planted there.
